Baby Katrina

I'm 9 months pregnant. I lived 2 blocks from the ocean in Biloxi, MS until Hurricane Katrina hit. My husband and I evacuated, only for him to be called back up there as he is in the military. Our place was damaged to the point that it's unlivable; however, most of our things survived. So last weekend I went up with my inlaws to pack our place and move to Florida until this is over. So now I moved, live in a new place, am alone without my husband, lost my home, and am about to have a baby possibly alone, only to have my husband leave on deployment for 6 months, 2 days before the due date.

I think it's fair to say Katrina blows. And I was one of the lucky ones. Very sad.
