A "Great" Beginning
My name is Lindsey and I recently started my freshman year in college at Florida A&M University. My family and I are from LaPlace, LA which is a suburb of New Orleans. My family and I have been greatly affected by the hurricane. My mother's house is flooded and she no longer has a job, my grandparents' house is flooded, my aunts and uncles houses are flooded. No one has any money nor any place to live. Everyone has to relocate to different parts of the US while I am here at FAMU trying to make a good start. I feel guilty when I ask my parents for money because I know that they are in a tight spot trying to pay for hotels and everything while the are residing in Texas. Everyone pray for us.
