Many amazing rescues
Our friends were trapped in a three-story home in the middle of Gentilly -- a really flooded area. They were airlifted to safety Thursday, September 1, Thank God. If they were saved, I have hope for so many others in these watered neighborhoods. Other friends swam through the waters near the broken levees, so I have hope for everyone I have not yet located. Everyone should volunteer and give as much money as you can to United Way or Salvation Army or your local churches. Every dollar counts.
