Cocktail Time in New Orleans

Bruce making the best cosmo in town

Bruce at La Cote Brasserie

I suggest you go to the Swizzle Stick Lounge at the Loew's Hotel on Poydras Street, where you may encounter a fortune teller. Don't miss Bruce, holding court at La Cote Brasserie in the Renaissance Hotel in the Warehouse District, for what may be the finest Cosmopolitan ever.

The Loa Bar at the International House Hotel on Camp Street is exotic, even for New Orleans. Seasonal offerings have included a Jasmine White Tea Martini or a Loatini in this candlelit lounge.

The Delachaise Bar is a late night favorite, with a great wine list and other liquid refreshments, which can be served with some small plates such as poached oysters, and a lot of cheese offerings. 3442 St. Charles Avenue, Uptown.

d.b.a. New Orleans is at 618 Frenchmen Street, and is always brimming with more kinds of beer and ale than you can count, wines, martinis, and lots of live local music.
