New Orleans has some of the finest and most varied architecture in the country. Walking past the fronts of homes in the French Quarter, the Garden District and Algiers Point can't help but make you wonder what's inside. Well the fall tours on New Orleans neighborhoods are a great way to indulge that curiosity.

Treasures of Bourbon Street

Sunday, October 15th 1 to 5 p.m. But you have to buy your ticket before 3:30. Tickets are $15.00 at 830 Bourbon Street and 831 Gov. Nicholls Street.

Algiers Point

Take a ferry ride over the Mississippi River to Algiers Point on Sunday, October 15th to see the historic neighborhood of Mcdonogh Park. Start at the courthouse on the river. Tickets are $12, and tours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Preservation Resource Center's tour of the Garden District

Beautiful Garden District homes decorated for the Holidays are on display on December 9 and 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event headquarters are at Trinity Episcopal Church at 1329 Jackson Avenue. There's more than just homes to tour. There's music, a cafe and a holiday gift boutique. Tickets are $22.00 in advance or $27.00 on day of the event. Group rates are available
