The Zurich Classic Of New Orleans

Zurich Classic Of New Orleans:

The Zurich Classic is an important PGA tournament, to be played at the beautiful TPC Louisiana Golf Course. The tournament has been played annually since 1958 and New Orleans is the 11th-oldest host city on the PGA Tour. Past winners have included Billy Casper, Byron Nelson, Jack Nicklaus, Davis Love III, David Toms, and Vijay Singh. The purse in 200 was over $6 million. In the last five years, the Classic’s host organization, Fore!Kids Foundation, has raised more than $5 million to help local children in need.

TPC Louisiana:

TPC Louisiana is located across the Mississippi from downtown New Orleans, and was designed by Pete Dye, who created the flagship layout for the PGA Tour. This is a 7,300-yard, par-72 golf course. The property is self-contained, surrounded on three sides by drainage canals, and utiilzes so many of the natural resources, especially the cypress trees.
