Fashion Week Comes to New Orleans:
Fashion Week of New Orleans Foundation was founded January of 2009 to start re-building structure in the State of Louisiana for Art, Design, and Fashion showcases. It is now a well-respected Fashion Week, showcasing designers from all over the country. Still its main purpose is to fund scholarships to support Art, Design, and Fashion enthusiast wishing to pursue a degree to support these industries in Louisiana.
Main Events For Fashion Week:
At New Orleans Fashion Week you can expect socials, fashions shows, trunk shows, release parties, shopping entertainment functions, the finale and much more. There are the runways shows of course, and the finale is usually a fantastic themed gala party.
When and Where:
In 2011 the event will be held February 19 through the 26th. The runway dates are February 23rd - 26th at various locations around the city. For the complete schedule go to this website.
