Classic Creole Italian food: Tommy's has great Louisiana seafood cooked with an Italian flare. On the menu are traditional veal dishes like Veal Sorrentina and Veal Marsala.
Great seafood: Tommy's has some great seafood. One of my favorite things at Tommy's is the Crabmeat au Gratin, a great casserole with fresh lump crabmeat, fresh herbs and imported cheeses. There are also several different oyster dishes.
Great wine list: Tommy's has a great wine list with a good selection from Italy, France, Spain and California.
Where: Tommy's is in the heart of the Warehouse/Arts District at 746 Tchoupitoulas st. It also has a cool and very trendy wine bar next door if you only want something light and a good glass of wine.
