Since Master Chef Jimmy Corwell insists on using only the freshest local ingredients, the menu changes with the seasons. Creole Tomato Bisque with crabmeat in puff pastry is a favorite in summer. During oyster season, try the Gulf Oysters – Rockefeller Style. You can alwsys get a fine selection of Foie Gras. For entres try the Tenderloin of Nature-Fed Beef jardinière vegetable, beef consommé green peppercorn and Sherry sabayon. it's wonderful. If you love fresh fish, go for the Caramelized American Red Snapper Fillet pommes vapeur, lobster wilted spinach with green grapes star anise and jus de poisson.

Le Foret is located in an historic building that was formerly a cigar factory on the corner of Camp and Common Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans. So, it's convenient to both the French Quarter, and the Uptown area. Le Foret is open every night except Monday for dinner and on Friday for lunch.
