Mother's Day weekend is a great time to visit New Orleans. You can spend most of the weekend doing family activitesand then take Mom to a great restaurant for a Champagne Jazz Brunch the whole family will enjoy. Most of the major hotels have lavish Jazz brunches. One of my favorites is the Veranda at the Hotel Intercontinental. The food is great and the hotel is on the St. Charles Streetcar line, so it's easy to get there. Also, there's a Kid's Camp with games and fun activities for the little ones. The Hilton Riverside has a good one also. Here are some other possibilities for Mother's Day Brunch. Make reservations, because these brunches sell out quickly.
Champagne Stroll on Magazine

Stores will be open late and there's lots of Champagne to enjoy will shopping along one of the best shopping streets in American.
