Preservation Hall, The Place for New Orleans Jazz

What:

Preservation Hall is dedicated to the preservation of New Orleans Jazz music. Preservation Hall is not only a venue for music, it is an art gallery and photo studio. On the walls are portraits of all of the New Orleans Jazz greats who gave New Orleans and the world this unique musical experience.

Family-Oriented:

Perhaps the best thing about Preservation Hall is that it is family-friendly. There is no smoking or drinking in the hall and all ages are welcome. Preservation Hall is a great place to bring the kids to introduce them to the American music form on New Orleans Jazz.

Where:

Preservation Hall is located at 726 St. Peter St. in the French Quarter. The building that houses Preservation Hall was originally constructed as a private residence in 1750.

The Schedule:

On any given night Preservation Hall is filled with the sounds of New Orleans Jazz and joyful people enjoying the experience. Doors open at 8 p.m. Shows start at 8:15 p.m. Get the schedule
