Fleur de Tease:
Fleur de Tease is a variety burlesque revue in New Orleans' French Quarter, at the very hip club One-Eyed Jacks. The show features a type of dancer not seen since the days of Bourbon Street's Linda Brigette and Lily Christine, "The Cat Girl." This new group is dedicated to the preservation of all things New Orleans, and has donated its talents to such varied causes as an injured police officer to Save the Breast Burlesque, raising money for the American Cancer Society.
Burlesque is Beautiful:
Fleur de Tease stars the incomparable Miss Trixie Minx, twirling her tassels with the grace of a ballerina and the abandon of Blaze Starr. She is also director and producer of the spectacular, which showcases dancers Madame Mystere (a naughty schoolteacher), Natasha Fiore, and Leigh Cristine.
In addition to the dancers, the show presents emcee Magic Mike, Fire Eater Chrystal Skye. Raven the trapeze artist, does a seductive routine on silk ropes that will dazzle you with its artistry. Some special guest artists appear, making each performance distinctive. You can also buy your pasties and tassels for your own performances at home!
At One-Eyed Jacks:
Fleur de Tease is currently scheduled Sundays in November, at 8 and 10 p.m. Admission is $15 at the door ($20 for table seating).
