Hotel Monteleone’s lobby. The Carousel revolves to give everyone a full 360-degree view of the bar. Outstanding drinks with a great and friendly staff.

Commander’s Palace. Runners up are Galatoire’s
Jaque-Imo’s and Brigtsen’s (a tie) and August.
Best wine list:
Emeril’s.
Best place for gumbo:
Gumbo Shop. Runners up are Mandina's and Mr. B's.
Best place to get raw oysters:
Acme Oyster House. Runner up is Drago's at the Hilton Hotel.
Best place for creole food:
Galatoire’s. Friday is the day to lunch there.
Best day spa::
Belladonna on Magazine Street. A local favorite. Runners up were Earthsaver’s and Spa at the Ritz-Carlton.
Best place to hear live music:
Tipitina’s. Runners up are House of Blues and Snug Harbor.
