A new tradition

Check out the First Annual New Year's Eve Bash with Rockin Dopsie at Ernst Cafe. There will be live music with one of the Zydeco's "kings" from 9:00 pm - 1:00 am. Tickets are $100 per person that includes an open bar, unlimited champagne, and hot and cold hors d’oeuvres.

An old tradition

At Jackson Square, at 8:00 pm, a FREE festival featuring live music, fireworks. Musical performances include Cool Bone Brass Band, Vivaz, Arlo Guthrie & Family and Louisiana Leroux. It will be a new year as the fireworks bring in 2006 accompanied by choreographed music "Symphony in the Sky". The gumbo pot drops at midnight.

An old friend on the river again

From 10:00p.m. - 1:00a.m., the Riverboat Cajun Queen will host a Mississippi River cruise with Hors d'Oeuvres, an Open Call Brand Bar, live entertainment, a champagne Toast ,and party favors. Tickets are $99.00,for adults, $59.00 for children.

Life goes on, and we are celebrating our hopes for 2006, come join us if you can.
