If you don't get enough music during the day at the French Quarter Festival don't give up. There's lots of great music venues around New Orleans for later at night.

Frenchmen Street in the Marigny

The neighborhood directly below the French Quarter on the Mississippi River is Fauberg Marigny. It's a great place for music and food, especially the 500 & 600 blocks. Here's some suggestions.
