Thursdays in the Square Concerts

The Concert Stage in Lafayette Square

Lafayette Square, just off Poydras Street between St. Charles Avenue and Camp Street is the meeting place for free concerts in both the Spring and Fall.

In the Spring, the concerts are on Wednesday is the day to go out to the square. But, in the Fall, change that to Thursday.

Harvest the Music:

Harvest the Music is a free concert series benefiting The Second Harvest Food Bank. The concerts will be held on Thursdays in the Fall at Lafayette Square at 5 p.m.

Food and Crafts

There will be food booths, drinks and local crafter selling their wares.

  • September 17 Eric Lindell
  • September 24 Irma Thomas and the Professionals and Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs
  • October 1 Anders Osborne and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux
  • October 8 The Radiators
  • October 15 Rebirth Brass Band
  • October 22 Kermit Ruffins and the Barbeque Swingers
  • October 29 Blues Traveler and Shannon McNally
