Music is so much a part of our culture in New Orleans. We celebrate every part of life, good and bad with music. Naturally the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina is no exception.Here are some of the top picks

The "Anti-Versary" at the Howlin' Wolf is Monday night. music runs from 9 until 1 a.m. both nights, The Howlin' Wolf is located at 907 S. Peters in the Warehouse District. Music starts at 10 p.m. and there is a $10 cover charge.

"New Orleans: Rebuilding the Soul of America . . . One Year Later." A concert on Tuesday. Stevie Wonder, Wynton Marsalis, Dr. John, Yolanda Adams and Kirk Franklin will present a concert at the New Orleans Arena. The concert begins at 7 p.m., are $35 to $250 and are available through Ticketmaster.

ReBirth Brass Band's show at The Maple Leaf on Tuesday night. The Maple Leaf is located at 8316 Oak St. in Uptown. Music starts at 10:30 p.m. and there is a cover charge.

'Swing-night' at Mid City Lanes Rock 'n' Bowl at 4133 S. Carrolton Avenue in Mid City. Music starts at 8:30 p.m., and the cover charge is $5.00 every Wednesday night.

See Fredy Omar and his band at Café Brasil in the heart of the Marigny. Every Wednesday and Friday, salsa dancers and the free dance lesson before the band goes on. Café Brasil is located at 2100 Charters in the Marigny. Free dance lessons begin at 8:30 p.m., and the band goes on at 9:30 p.m. The cover charge is $7.00.

Save the Wetlands Thursday at Tipitina's Uptown , located at 501 Napoleon Ave. Music starts at 10 p.m. and there is a $10 cover charge.
