Special Events
There are always special events planned for the French Quarter Festival. Here are those scheduled for 2009.
Friday Opening Parade and second line 9 a.m. at 100 Bourbon Street, and Open Tours at the Hermann-Grima House and Gallier House museums.
Saturday World Championship Oyster Eating Contest, Battle of the Bands, Opera at Dusk, the Pirates Alley Art Show, and Open Tours at the Hermann-Grima House and Gallier House museums.
Sunday Dancing at Dusk, St. Louis Cathedral Annual Spring Concert, and the Pirates Alley Art Show.
All three days! International Music Colloquium, Patio Planters Historic Courtyard Self-Guided Tours.
