Spring Fiesta in New Orleans

By Sharon Keating, About.com

What: Enter the old New Orleans, the French Quarter. The Spring Fiesta is a chance to go inside some of the old homes in the French Quarter and tour some of the beautiful courtyards hidden from the street. The Spring Fiesta is held in April when the azaleas are in bloom and beautiful. Spring Fiesta is a great way to spend a spring day in the French Quarter.
Always a parade: The Spring Fiesta holds a horse-drawn carriage parade through the French Quarter. "The Night in Old New Orleans" parade is nothing like the wild parades at Mardi Gras. But, it's a lot of fun anyway.
Get tickets: Spring Fiesta tour tickets are about $15.00 for the walking tour. You can add a brunch at Broussard's in the French Quarter on Sunday for $65.00, that includes the walking tour tickets as well as the food.
