The French Market Creole Tomato Festival

A celebration of the favorite food of the summer, the Creole Tomato. This special delicacy is used in many Creole dishes and other local cuisine. Best of all, it's free to the public.

Where?:

The festival takes place in the French Market area of the French Quarter of New Orleans.

When?:

The Creole Tomato Festival is held on a weekend in the middle of June, and is an annual event.

More Than Tomatos:

Often the Creole Tomato Festival expands to include the Louisiana Seafood Festival or the Cajun-Zydeco Music Festival. Also, restaurants nearby have specialty dishes at special prices.
