New Orleans Oktoberfest - Oktoberfest in New Orleans

Where:

Oktoberfest is held every year at Deutsches Haus, which is located at 200 S. Galvez Street in New Orleans. Deutches Haus was formed in 1928 as a benevolent and social organization.

The Beer and Food:

Oktoberfest features live bands German food and beer, wine and schnapps, and Souviners from Germany. The beer choices are exceptional. A partial list includes Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest Spaten Lager, Oktoberfest, Franziskaner, Optimator Dinkel Acker Dark Paulaner Hefeweizen, Munich Lager, Oktoberfest Hofbrau Oktoberfest, Munich Lager Warsteiner and Warsteiner Dunkel Bitburger Kostritzer Schwarzbier (Black Lager) Also there's Schnapps (Goldwasser, Goldschlager, Rumplemintz, Black Haus), and Clean Slate Reisling. These beers are paired with great German food like, Sauerbraten, Bratwurst, Knackwurst & much more.

There are also live bands, and German products for sale.

When:

The Haus opens at 5:00 PM each Friday and 1:30 pm Saturday beginning September 25 through October 25th. Meals are available at 5:00 PM until 10:45 PM.
