When to Come
When you come to New Orleans can make a big difference in your experience. Mardi Gras and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival are big draws, so if you are coming for those big events planning early is essential. Coming in the off-season (summer) brings less crowds and better deals.
How to Get Here
Before you can walk down Bourbon Street, eat a po-boy or hear some live jazz, you have to get here. Whether you're flying or driving you need directions. New Orleans is a fairly compact city and it's easy to get around by publc transportation.
