New Orleans is one of the most historic, exciting cities on the planet. It's unique food and culture draws many visitors every year. With any trip, the key to having a great time starts with good planning.

  1. When to Come
  2. Hotels
  3. Restaurants

When to Come

Jackson Square

When you come to New Orleans can make a big difference in your experience. Mardi Gras and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival are big draws, so if you are coming for those big events planning early is essential. Coming in the off-season (summer) brings less crowds and better deals.

Hotels

There are many great hotels and B&B's in New Orleans. When making a reservation, consider why you're here and what you want to be near.

Restaurants

Dick and Jenny's

Planning any trip to New Orleans involves food. With many of the famous restaurants, it's a good idea to get reservations before you come.
