Sunday Afternoons in City Park
If you're looking for something to do with the kids,(ages 5-12) why not try a joint art project? The New Orleans Museum of Art, located in City Park offers art workshops designed to allow children and adults to work together to create a piece of art.
First a tour
The workshop starts with a tour of the art created in related workshops at the Museum of Art. Then, after you are inspired, you are taken to a classroom to create your own masterpiece.
When and how much
The cost is $6.oo per family team and the workshops are from 2-4 p.m. on Sundays. The museum provides all the art supplies you need, but you must pre-register.
