Ghostly Galavant
A special fun event is offered this weekend by the Friends of the Cabildo. Their "Ghostly Galavant" includes a cemetery tour with spirit guides portraying legendary New Orleanians. Take part in an authentic jazz funeral second line dance back to the French Quarter and tour the historic 1850 house decorated for the season in authentic mourning decor of the era. Transportation to and from the cemetery is included. Tickets are $18.00 and can be purchased at the 1850 house in the French Quarter located at 523 St. Ann Street. The event takes place October 30 and 31, 2004, 10:00 am-4:00 pm, buses leave about every 20 minutes.
