I have been trying to get information on safety issue in the esplanada avenue area Lamothe house, and about parking accommadations I am told they are free but is it like on the street or in a secure area and are there extra hidden fees. We will be visiting NO for the first time for christmas and are a little apprehensive after reading some recent reviews can you assist us as far as how safe the area is and can we walk day or night to french quarters and how far are we from main attractions and would it be better or safer to stay closer to the inner city of the french quarters and are there any places that have secure free parking Thank you Karen\\
