Oil Spill On The Mississippi River In New Orleans Stops River Traffic, But Not Tourists
Friday July 25, 2008
The bad news is that a barge/ship collision in the Mississippi River in New Orleans has caused an oil spill. The good news is most of the oil is down river from the tourist areas and does not affect the drinking water or air quality of New Orleans. So, if you’re planning a trip soon to New Orleans, rest assured that the oil spill will not interfere with your plans.
