Mardi Gras day is here

It was an early morning for me. I got up at about 6 a.m to help set up the ladders and chairs for the day's parades. I bearly got my tiara and feather boa on when our first guests arrived at about 8. We all had a great day, watching parades, bar-b-queing, eating. And, laughing. It was great to do something normal for a change.

Of course only in New Orleans would one consider it normal to wear a tiara and feather boa to sit out on the street at 8 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. See some photos of the day.
